Gentle Queer
Gentle Queer is the nationwide prevention project for the LGBTQIA* community. It focuses on gay, bisexual, trans, and other men* who have sex with men* (MSM).
Gentle Queer aims to provide information about HIV, STIs, and sexual health. This promotes the prevention of sexually transmitted infections and empowers individuals to help themselves. The project is committed to combating discrimination against queer people. The educational work of our AIDS service organizations and sexual health centers is only effective where sexuality and gender can be discussed openly and without prejudice.
Events such as the Gay Summer Camp at Lake Constance offer opportunities for personal conversations and the distribution of contraceptives. The project is generally characterized by its easily accessible services. Volunteer training and internal workshops keep staff and volunteers up-to-date on the latest (medical) information.
If you have questions about HIV or other STIs, need help, or are simply looking for advice on sexuality or safer sex, please contact your local AIDS service organization.
You can also listen to Gentle Queer! In the podcast "heiss & heftig" hosts Claudius and Lars talk about sexual health and how to navigate Grindr, cruising, dating, and kinks with ease.
The podcast "Queergeredet" is for the entire queer community. Here, we talk with interviewees about topics from the queer world, social issues, sexual health, and other exciting things we find important.

The spelling men* aims to make it clear that there are more than the two genders, female and male. Genders are also social constructs and are socially conditioned. The social gender is not natural. Our offers are open to all men*.
Gentle Queer is financed by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Integration from state funds approved by the Baden-Württemberg State Parliament and from funds of the statutory health insurance joint funding program.
